Since starting my practise in Dorset, I have built up a very respectable list of satisfied patients, although it was not that easy at first, offering a relatively new type of therapy within the area. But through recommendation the word soon spread.
The most common question is, how does it work ? I find that there is so little known about LLLT generally, this can sometimes cause doubt if not explained and successfully demonstrated.
One of my first jobs was to assign myself to the Oakmedians Rugby Club, at Meyrick Park, Bournemouth. This was the best proving ground to get an endless supply of injuries to work with. At first the players were a little sceptical having previously only experienced Physiotherapy/Chiropractic therapy. After a short while their doubts were put aside when they experienced first hand some positive results from the Laser Therapy, after just a few treatments. I get on average about 85% success with healing or improving their conditions. I often work adjunct the treatment team of fifth year Chiropractic students from the Anglo-European-Chiropractic-College on more difficult cases, and this forms a very good healing team. (the best of both treatments)
