Hello, I'm Peter wallace. I have enjoyed being
a therapist since 1998 in London, where I studied Human Anatomy
& Physiology, I then went on to learn Medical & Traditional
acupuncture at the London college of Traditional Chinese medicine,
and The Royal London Homeopathic hospital. I am a qualified Laser
therapist (manufacture trained.) I have also attended many other
health related courses on, Patient Care, Counselling, First Aid,
Sport Injuries & Massage, I am currently studying Homeopathic
remedies and Aromatherapy- massage. I am a registered ITEC professional. Having all this related knowledge, I
am able to offer patients a complete "Alternative or Complementary
option" to traditional medicines and therapy's. I work from
my practice in Dorset, and at the Chaseville Laser clinic in North
London.

I experienced first hand, the effects of Low Level Laser
Therapy some years ago, after an accident in which I broke my lower leg
and partially-ruptured my Achilles tendon. When I was told by the hospital
it could take seven to ten weeks of rehabilitation before I would have
the full use of my leg back, I decided to take action myself and see if
I could improve on this repair process. I had read about Low Level Laser
on the Internet, although I thought it a little "Star Trek"
but had seen the results practitioners were claiming around the world
for a variety of conditions, and especially musculo-skeletal, so I thought
I would give it a try ! I was fortunate to have a Laser clinic nearby
in North London, and decided after a consultation to start Laser Therapy
as soon as my leg was removed from the plaster.
I found that after the second treatment the pain level
was significantly reduced, and after the third treatment the oedema swelling
had reduced by 90% and I had a lot more mobility with little discomfort,
and as anyone who has had a tendon rupture will know this pain can be
excruciating. within a short while I was able to walk without my crutches
and after the fourth week I was running again (gently) and training.
I was in no doubt, the laser therapy had definitely improved
the speed / quality of repair, infact it almost halved the expected rehab'
time. From that moment on I decided that this was the type of therapy
I would follow, and I am as enthusiastic and dedicated to Laser therapy
now as I was then, (even more so.)
I sincerely believe it to be a wonderful alternative
healing therapy, and so shortly after I completed my medical studies,
Laser Therapeutics was born.
It certainly is "medicine of the future" ...
but not as we know it !
