LLLT is the application of a narrow band of "Cold" pure laser light to a problem area, this speeds up and improves the quality of tissue repair ( Bone, Muscle, Tendon, Ligament and skin, acute or chronic conditions.) Laser therapy is a drug free , and non-invasive alternative and can also help to reduce Pain and inflammation/Oedema , reduces the risk of infection.
The effects of applied low-level laser are "Photochemical (not thermal) and works by stimulation at a cellular level. It triggers normal cell function and increases fibroblast production, collagen synthesis, mast cells, vaso dilation, local and systemic endorphin release, and T+B lymphocyte production. In Laser Acupuncture, It can be used as an alternative to needles to stimulate the "trigger" and ACU-points.

It can increase mobility, reduce medication, faster recovery times and return to work/sport. LLLT is a Non-invasive, speedy to apply, safe, painless treatment. Unlike other electro-therapies it can safely be used over prosthetic implants (plastic hips & joints) metal pins, pacemakers or infected areas. Because of its ease of application it can be used on the young and elderly with no discomfort. In addition to my clinic treatment, I also operate a mobile service , so it can be applied to a patient who is unable to travel, in the comfort and convenience of their home, office, bed, etc.
As in all medical conditions this will vary person to person, depending whether acute or chronic, age, type of injury/condition, but results can be obtained from as little as 3 treatments or less.
